I am of Lithuanian descent and was born and raised on
Chicago's north side. From early on, I loved art and used
to draw every chance I had.

After high school, I attended DePaul University. In 1979,
I met my husband, Tom, while taking music lessons at
the Old Town School of Folk Music. We have two children; Matthew, age 21 and Jessica, age 18.

Time passed quickly and there was little time to pursue my interest . .
ART

I returned to school and received an Associate's Degree in Science in 2003. In 2006 I received
an Associate's Degree in Fine Arts.

Art is an area where I will always feel truly at home. Creating art will always be my first love,
and am grateful that I can now find the time to pursue my interest.

My work, heavily influenced by prehistoric art, primarily uses abstract imagery that ties the past
to the present.

Texture is created through my use of oil paint, acrylic and additives, and is an important element
in my projects.

I have participated in group exhibitions and my work is included in public and private collections.
