I love art and I love creating art. I am fascinated
by prehistoric art and abstract expressionism. My
favorite artists are: Willem de Kooning, Elaine de
Kooning, Jackson Pollock, Susan Rothenberg,
Joan Mitchell and Frida Kahlo.
My artwork is primarily painting. I use oil paint,
acrylic and additives to create greater texture. My
surface is canvas, linen and a variety of other
materials.
Texture, whether perceived or real, is important in all
my projects. I want my art to appear to come off the
canvas.
I wish to convey energy and emotion . . our
connection with the past.
